Kelsey was first drawn to Traditional Chinese Medicine’s holistic approach to heal the mind and the body as one entity, and to treat the cause of the disease rather than the symptoms. It is her passion to help others aim for optimal health and happiness.
She is a licensed Acupuncturist and a registered member of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia. She successfully graduated from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver, where she completed the 5 year doctorate program and holds a Doctorate of Chinese Medicine. Additionally she is a member of Acupuncturists Without Borders and volunteers her time in countries with need for alternative medicine.
Kelsey has practised in Taiwan at the Tzu Chi Buddhist Hospital where she was exposed to a wide variety of ailments such as, acute and chronic pain, digestive problems, shingles, post-stroke, scoliosis, migraines and headaches, and mental imbalances such as depression, anxiety, and insomnia. Her passion lies within women’s health and gynaecological issues but treats a wide array of ailments.
In her down time you can find her at the beach with her SUP, playing recreational sports, hiking, yoga, spending time with friends or enjoying the outdoors.
