Dr. Emil Vargas was born in Alberta and resides in Calgary aside from his locum doctor positions through North America. He went to school in the U.S. and studied Chiropractic where he played on the school’s hockey team and has recently played in Sweden. He graduated in 2009 from Life University with a Doctor of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science. Life University became famous in 2010 because that is where Sidney Crosby went to be treated for his concussion symptoms that forced an extended break from playing in the NHL by Dr. Ted Carrick, a Canadian chiropractor.
Dr. Emil Vargas became skilled in various chiropractic techniques at Life University (Applied Kinesiology, Activator, Diversified) which he applies to his practice. One of his personal positive experiences with Chiropractic as a patient was a decrease in allergy symptoms following chiropractic care. He believes in an integrative approach incorporating rehabilitative exercises, nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits for optimal health.
With previous experience as a maternity locum doctor, Dr. Emil Vargas is excited to support Dr. Stephanie Bonn’s practice while she is away caring for her infant until she returns in September 2018.
