Kayla’s romance with dance started at the age of 3. She has been training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and more for over 25 years. After graduating high school, teaching quickly became her full-time job while attempting a Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of Alberta.
She has now been teaching and choreographing for 12 years. She teaches Hip Hop throughout the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island and is a Captain and Choreographer for TwoFourSeven, a professional Hip Hop Dance Company that competes both nationally and internationally.
Taking care of your body is important in any dancers training. Lucky for her, she was introduced to chiropractic care through her dance studio. She started receiving regular treatment at the age of 13 and continues to receive treatment to this day. It has helped maintain her overall health and wellness allowing her to dance competitively well into her 20s.
Ultimately, her fascination with therapy led her to apply for her first reception job 8 years ago and she has loved working in a clinical setting ever since.
You can catch Kayla at reception Monday through Friday.
